For Beginners, training starts with soft balls and CCA has basic equipment for kids just getting started.
For kids who have been playing some level of cricket, we recommend kids to carry the right cricketing equipment for the sessions and games.
Typically kids get started with a pre session warmup and a quick talk on the day’s agenda. Coaches come prepared for basic drills to teach kids the different facets of the game – batting, bowling and fielding. Sessions are designed to ensure kids learn while having fun at the same time. The sessions end with a cool down routine and a quick feedback/recap with the kids.

Coaches typically focus on basic skills and ensure kids have the basic technique to handle themselves in games. Soft ball games are arranged so that kids get a sense of the game dynamics and get an idea of a competitive game environment. As the kid progresses, they are recommended for more competitive games according to their skill growth and maturity

Kids are typically inducted into Beginner Level 1 where the focus is on basics. Then as they grow in age, skill and maturity they move to more competitive groups
Coaches keep a close eye on progress and recommend the switch up the ladder
Yes, CCA gives Fitness and fielding highest priority as we believe that it will be the critical cog in a kids development eventually. We have incorporated 1 day of fitness and fielding session for all Annual Program members apart from the 2 regular nets sessions.

Well, a lot! One of the best coaching facilities, a big talent pool and a lot of competitive games and opportunities for the kids. CCA is a big community and we are very close knit. Parents get together and arrange pizza parties, ice cream parties for kids and also network while seeing their kids grow. CCA encourages parents to volunteer with game setup, game management and other administration chores of the academy. CCA arranges a Parents Cricket Tournament at the end of the year where Parents can showcase some of their skills in the game.
But dont miss out our Annual Awards function which is a family galla that we organize every year and give away awards for kids and parent volunteers.
